Terminal Station at Water St. Café
October 24 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm$5
The members of Terminal Station have been key sidemen in Vancouver’s blues, roots and jazz scenes for a couple of decades, playing with such artists as Jim Byrnes, Paul Pigat, Buckman Coe, Barney Bentall, Steve Dawson, Tony Wilson, Rich Hope, Laura Crema, Colleen Rennison, John Hammond and Alvin Youngblood Hart. Though they are more known as an exciting blues-rock band, Terminal Station is equally at home playing 60’s era Blue Note jazz, boogaloo and funk, which is what they will be playing at the Water St. Cafe. Expect tunes by Grant Green, Kenny Burrell, Ernest Ranglin, Marc Ribot, The Meters, and Gabor Szabo.
